Hi, I am using 2 FDCAN ports on my custom board with STM32G0B1x MCU. As per application note AN5348, I can set message RAM offset for second port. But I don't see this setting in STM32Cube MX. As per reference manual, I got following details: But I am not sure where to set start and end addresses. Please help. Thanks, Pradeep

Hi, When I create a new project on STM32CubeMX, it either freezes when I try to set up some peripherals, or I just get a blank screen when I try to reopen the porject after generating the code. I have tried rolling back to an older version, completely reinstalling, tried it on an ubuntu VM, switched devices, but nothing worked. kind regards, Sam

Hy,I try to configure MCO2 as adjustable clock out. For evaluation I use STM32N6 DK and STM32CubeMX 6.16.0 and STMCubeIDE 2.0.0I use all different settings and it works fine, but IC20 div setting has no effect. When I compare generated code, I see no difference, no matter what setting I put in IC20 div, neither changes the clock output frequency. RegardsHarald

Hi,Recently, updated to 6.16.1 on Linux.On a fresh project i get the "misconfiguration warning" when i hit "GENERATE CODE" (I use CMake Toolchain). See Screenshot: There you will see simple config for RCC. Got a "green check" symbol but i always get that Warning.On the second Screenshot, I have changed OCTOSPI settings, and it will add itself to the Warning list. I can extend the warning list by just changing any settings. Maybe I really misconfigured something, but I don't see it.I guess it is a bug - I can generate the code, but this Warning might mask real configuration issues in the future.Thx

Attempting to download the new STM32CubeMX 2.0 (required since not included in STM32CubeIDE anymore) does not work from your site.https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/stm32cubemx.html# has links all over the page to "Download STM32CubeMX"...Unfortunately all these links have the same problem: a License Agreement comes up, but when I click Accept nothing happens.There's not an obvious way to download in any other way.

Hello,I got a problem with HAL library 10.4 for STM32L152RE in UART DMA transmission, the data is transmited only one time using the function HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart3,t_Buffer ,11) using uart3,  after that the UART3 structure keep the "flag" huart3.gState to HAL_UART_STATE_BUSY and all the other transmissions failedit never come back to the  HAL_UART_STATE_READY so it is impossible to make another transmission. I solve the problem by changing this flag state back to "ready" when transmission is done  using indirectly the (callback) transmission interrupt provided in  DMA1_Channel2_IRQHandler but it is not really a solution !! it should be OK once the data has been transmitted properly by HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA. is it a bug in 10.4 HAL STM32L1 release ( maybe previous ones too ) or this behavior is normal and I need to use that "manual solution" ? thanks Thierry 

Following the article Security:How to start with STM32CubeMX Secure Manager on STM32H57 - stm32mcu I'm stuck in the step 3.2 Boot Path Configuration. At this point, STM32CubeMX had grayed out the button "Select" in Boot Path Selection. It is released only when I configure Secure Mode in Project Manager. When clicking it and trying do configure a Boot Path, I can't get the final configuration ST_iROT_UROT_SECURE_MANAGER. Am I doing something wrong?I'm trying to use STM32CubeMX to generate a project with TrustZone activated. How could I include in a project the Middlewares MbedTLS and MCUBoot? Normally it should be in the "Middleware and Software Packs" list of packs installed but I have to copy them manually. When generating code sometimes I have to copy again because they are deleted.Thank you in advance.

Follow-on from CubeMX code generation from command line.I am posting again in hopes of getting meaningful answer.I tried creating a simple script text file to automate code generation for my project. The script file has all of three lines:config load DCC_tester.iocgenerate code .exitThe feedback I got on why it did not work was my .ico file was corrupted. To prove this was not the case I used a very simple project file using one of your example projects from one of your released STM32H5 bundles.The only modification I made was changing the name and making it a cmake project.I am running on Windows 11 with CubeMX installed using all defaults.I can click on the .ioc file from Windows Explorer and the MX IDE opens just fine. I can click the "GENERATE CODE" button and that also works just fine. All the files are generated as expected.I try launching using the -q using ether a PowerShell script or a command line batch file and neither completes although it looks like its trying. 

A new question moved from this thread. Thank you a lot! But still I have many questions regarding this. Like this one: I have configured the ADC with the Temperature Channel and Vref int channel to be used with DMA. However in many examples they show how to configure the rank for the DMA but the rank option is missing within my CubeMX:   Is this a bug or I'm missing something?

In the STM32CubeMX configuration interface, there are two identical options here.They can be configured into different options.After generating the code, it will be based on the configuration of the second option.  

I would like to automate code generation of my .ioc file using CubeMX from command line or PowerShell.AI says its possible with the -q (quiet mode) option but it does not seem to work.

I recently switched to Mac Tahoe 26.1 and it seems since then stm32CubeMX 6.15 is not listing the contents of my Documents folder anymore. It doesn't seem like a rights management issue sincethere were no changes to the Documents rightsthey are identical to sibling folders which CubeMX would properly enumerateAnd yes, the folder does have contents and is not empty as shown in the screenshot from the file open dialog attached.Anyone experiencing similar issues? Hello everyone, I'm creating a TIM3-based project using CubeMX. I'm using the Nucleo-H755ZI development board, which features the STM32H755ZITx dual-core MCU.I've completed all the necessary configurations—GPIO settings, TIM settings, SYS, and PROJECT settings. However, when I click "Generate Code," it creates the main.c file but does not generate the xxx_FLASH.ld linker script file. My selected Toolchain is STM32CubeIDE. I'm using CubeMX version 6.15 and CubeIDE version 1.19.Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue? 

Hi, may I confirm whether the STM32H755 supports only the muxed PSRAM configuration? I want to experiment something with an unmuxed connection with separate data and address. Is there a work around on this or is it an internal design that I cannot change

However, the example I added does not appear in the CubeMX Example Selector.It appears in "Repository/Packs" in my user folder in c:/Details:Pack created with STM32Cube Pack CreatorExample project added under the Examples folder in the pack structurePack installs fine and is visible in CubeMXThe example does not show up in the CubeMX Example Selector listQuestions:Are there specific requirements or metadata (e.g., .pdsc file entries, example description XML) that must be included for CubeMX to recognize and display the example?Could this be related to the folder structure or naming conventions inside the pack?Any guidance or documentation on ensuring custom examples appear in CubeMX would be appreciated.Thanks in advance for your help!

This morning I updated my CubeIDE to 1.19 from 1.18.  I assume MX updated too... don't know how to check the MX version.After updating and then opening and migrating my project to 1.19, my OCTOSPI settings and the "octospi.c" file were gone.  When I try to set things back the way they were in 1.18, there is no longer an option for "Quad SPI -- MULTIPLEXED --".  My circuit has a flash IC and a RAM IC sharing the bus on Data [3:0] (Port1 IO[3:0] -- MULTIPLEXED --).  This has been working when using IDE 1.18, but now I'm stuck.How do I setup the new MX to multiplex OCTOPSPI1 and OCTOSPI2 ?

New question split from this thread. Hello, Thank you for your response. I have double-checked and found that the 6.10 version also cannot be configured in this way. I will adopt the single-line mode on the next hardware version. However, there is still a question regarding the configuration of can in version 6.16. Why must the sum of the two parameters in the following figure be 32? Otherwise, there will be a warning. In version 6.13, this issue does not exist. The attachment contains the relevant IOC files.
