We are a data company based out of the UK who use a data collection device which utilises RF transmission. The device transmits accelerometer data collected on it using the S2-LPQTR component. This set up is certified for FCC and CE, with the caveat that during compliance testing, the frequency band had to be made wider for the FCC regulations: CEFCCBase Frequency868.2 MHz921.4 MHzFrequency Deviation20 kHz228.516 kHzChannel Bandwidth100 kHz541 kHzThe end result of these changes is that the range of transmission has dropped from around 100 metres to around 5 metres.I have attached some pictures of some investigation I did with a spectrum analyser to see the difference between the two settings. It's clear that some drop in range is going to occur, but is it expected for it to be so drastic?We use 2-FSK modulation. Hi, I need a comprehensive description of STUSB1602 registers to see if there's a possibility to control the I/O lines with them. I checked the git repository of firmwares and found something but I'd like to get a general description of the registers and what can be done with them. This seems to have been asked before without any clear replies and I can't find it in ST documentation either. So if you know any links that tell something about this, please post here.Another question is: what is the reason a pull-up is required on the SPI lines?The problem is, the MOSI line is sinking 200uA excess current due to the 10k pull-up when the device is in standby mode and this is not acceptable in this battery operated device. Is there a way to set the I/O pins in different states to avoid such current loss? Hi everyone,I would like to design a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) server-side on my STWINBX1 board.I saw some ST documentation, like "PM 0257: BlueNRG-1, BlueNRG-2 BLE stack v2.x programming guidelines"On introduction, its said that it use "BlueNRG-1, BlueNRG-2 BLE stack v2.x library APIs", but thats unclear for me where can I find this library.I found bothBLE Profiles_Lib 3.1.3 and BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.3 projects, thats include severals .a files, somes demos, and theys seems to include lot of useless stuff for me.I would like to download a simple library (like a .a) and some .h files to get prototypes of functions that I can use to design the BLE server part of my software. Hi everyone,I am currently working on a PCB design using a Bluenrg-332ac chip. The official PCB design guideline has a resistor marked "X" as shown on the left of the figure below. Dear all I have terrible problem regarding security in my application developed for a client. I am using BlueNRG-2 in my target system (which is custom made) and I observed the same situation on STEVAL-IDB007V1 as well. To make things short, the easiest way to reproduce the problem is to upload the "Security peripheral" example onto STEVAL-IDB007V1 (EVAL for short) board, and make it run. Then download the nRF Connect application for Android (the best app I know), and bond with the EVAL. Bonding seems to work fine, although it sometimes would ask me for a PIN event though I opted for "JustWorks", but whatever. Then , after bonding I can connect without problems, BUT only after when I disconnect, firmware switches do undirected connectable calling aci_gap_set_undirected_connectable finction WITH the WHITELIST. And now whenever I try to connect again I get dreaded 0x85 GATT ERROR (read through nordic semi forums to see why I said "dreaded"). The only way to connect to EVAL board from now

Hi :I noticed that Controller privacy requires 32MHz High Speed Crystal in BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.3\Project\BLE_Examples\BLE_Privacy\src\BLE_Privacy_main.c, but I don't find any document about this.Meanwhile, my platform has 16M high speed crystal, I modify HS_SPEED_XTAL_32MHZ to HS_SPEED_XTAL_16MHZ then flash this demo and can't scan the bluenrg1 device(the demo has name "pslave"). is there any workaround so that I can use Controller privacy with 16M high speed crystal? @LauraCx @Rene Lenerve @Laurent LOUAZON

Hi all,I have a question regarding the SPIRIT1 RF transceiver. According to Section 9.1, it features Antenna diversity functionality, allowing the transceiver to monitor signal strength in antennas and utilize the best one available.My query is whether this function is directly implemented on SPIRIT1 or if it necessitates a host MCU where all the logic will be housed to control diversity functions.If its implemented on SPIRIT1, is it function via the available four GPIO pins?Are there any specific requirements for RF switches to enable this function?Moreover, is it feasible to employ four antennas, or does this functionality exclusively support two antennas?Thank you

Hi, I have an STEVAL-FKI433V2  board which I am trying to work on using S2-LP DK on windows.When I connect the board and try to open the com port, it requests to update the firmware on the L0.Did that, and still it does not work. Config :Iphone 6siOS 14.8.1The user can't accept the license agreement as there is not "accept" button. user is locked on License Agreement page of the application.Work for others versions of iOS, but not 14.8.1.Also work on Android.Please patch this as some users can't use your application

I am using Okta  signin widget, I got user info. But I am unable to getting the specific user groups data(user belonging to which group) with okta login with angular. 

I'm using the L9663-chip to read data from a sensor using the mode P10P-500/3L. The sensor is transmitting data in timeslot 2, and I can read the 10 bit data fine using the register in the L9663 and also as manchester coded data on DOUT1 if I configure DOUT1 to contain PSI5 data. However, if I configure DOUT1 to be used as an interrupt signal it just stays low.I don't really understand from the datasheet exactly how the interrupt generation should work. The datasheet says "The interrupt pin is set to high when all the buffers configured by SPI are full. The interrupt pin is set to low when all the buffers are empty." but the meaning of this is not clear to me.What should cause it to be cleared, should I try to read all three timeslots for it to be cleared? Should I configure the unused timelots (1 and 3) in some special way to signal that there will be no data in those slots?If anyone has any hints of what to check I would be very grateful!

Hi, this is regarding the bluenrg345 device We have developed a custom board for reading and sharing data via bluenrg deviceFor flashing we use RF flasher utility tool and uart bootloader via usb to uart icWe have flashed a couple of times using this method, but few of the boards (5/10) do not gets flashedstating error as " Exit flashBoard: Exception ID1: auto baudrate functionality failed " on RF flasher tool- we have tried couple of debugging and replaced few discrete components- replaced bluenrg device as well - can we know what is leading to this issue?- What is issue and how can we solve it ?Although flashing using STLINK and RF flasher tool for the exact same board does works

While I understand an NDA is required for access to the complete details on this solution, would it be possible to say if it works underwater as communication between ROV modules?Scenario:IC A | 1mm air or mineral oil | 5mm plastic | ~5-10mm (sea) water | 5mm plastic | 1mm air or mineral oil | IC BWould this work at all? Even when only working at lower speed (for example USB FS / 12Mbit) this would be interesting.

Good morning everyone, I am new to the field and would like some advice on using your sensors. I am trying to create a script in javascript (I am using noble.js) in order to connect a number N of steval bcn002v1b sensors with bluetooth connection and acquire the data that the sensor provides. I'm having problems retrieving the accelerometer data as I can't get them and i think I have to trigger accelerometer events to then acquire the data. I would therefore like to ask if you have any suggestions on how to do this as even sending buffers to the sensor it does not react in any way. Thank you very much in advance

Hi!I have a problem with reading data from MPU-6500 gyroscope/accelerometer (Arduino-module GY-6500/GY-9250). I am using the I2C protocol. When reading the WHO_AM_I_REG register ( with address = 0x75 ) I always get the number 0x70, although all publications say it should be 0x68. According to the document "MPU-6000 and MPU-6050 Register Map and Descriptions", Rev. 4.2: "The default value of the register is 0x68".To read the register I use the function: HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1, (uint16_t)(0x68<<1), (uint16_t)0x75, i2C_MEMADD_SIZE_8BIT, (uint8_t *)res, 1, 1000). The variable "res" always returns with the number 0x70 instead of 0x68. There were attempts on STM32F091, STM32L152, STM32F722 controllers (on Nucleo boards). The pull-up resistors are 4.7k ohms. Exchange rate 100k and 400k - the result is the same. Checking the exchange observation of signals SCL, SDA by a logic analyzer shows that on the bus I2C write / read occur without errors.What am I doing wrong? Maybe Arduino-mo

Hi everyone!I'm trying to integrate my own touch controller with TouchGFX on a custom board. My touch driver gives me XY coordinates of an event (press or release). Basically with this information I can do whaterver I want. So, for example, I can change color of a box when that box is pressed simulating a button.But if I want to use the button widget with an interaction, TouchGFX generates a buttonCallbackHandler that execute code. How can I tell TouchGFX that, if my touch driver tell me that a XY coordinate relative to the button is pressed, it should call the buttonCallbackHandler?Hopefully I wrote it clear.
