Hello,I am working with the B-L4S5I-IOT-01A board (MCU: STM32L4S5VIT6) and attempting to load a .hex file using the UART bootloader via USART1 (PB6, PB7).Since this USART is connected by default to the ST-LINK interface, I removed the necessary resistors (R42, R43) to isolate the ST-LINK connection. I then provided direct RX/TX connections from the MCU side through the corresponding pads.However, I am unable to detect the MCU UART in the STM32 Programmer IDE. The device does not appear or respond during the bootloader communication attempt.Could you please guide me on the correct procedure to:Properly enable UART boot mode on this boardEnsure USART1 is usable for bootloader communicationIdentify any additional hardware or configuration requirementsAny reference or clarification would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hey. I currenlty have a wba55 baord and use it as a ble p2p server. The main idea is to put put the board to stop0/1 mode when disconnected so that it consumes some μ amps and turn it back on when receiving a specific interrupt (eg button, timer etc).I tried a minimal bare-metal example, where i turned on every peripheral (uart, i2c etc) i would use on my actual project to monitor power consumption and before sleep mode i de-inited each and every one of them and all interrupt sources other than the specific EXTI line. The thing is that the device seemed like unable to even enter stop mode. I turned off the rf module through mx and it worked perfectly. So from what i understood, the rf module and be in general produces a ton of interrupts which doesn't let the device to stay in stop mode. Is there any way to disable the rf module/ ble during runtime and re enable it once the device wakes up from the intended interrupt source ? 

I'm running into an issue where my STM32G4 gets stuck in an infinite while loop inside R3_2_SwitchOffPWM() during the motor control initialisation sequence, and I wanted to share it here in case others have encountered the same thing.---Hardware & Software- Board: EVSPIN32G4- Code generation tool: ST Motor Control Workbench v6.4.2- No manual edits made to any generated files---What happensDuring startup, MX_MotorControl_Init() is called from main(), which triggers MCboot() → FOC_Clear() → PWMC_SwitchOffPWM() → R3_2_SwitchOffPWM(). Hello, Started to dwell info embedded development and got my hands on a NUCLEO-H7S3L8 development board. Firstly wanted to analyze the example code that comes with the development board and modify it a bit. But when started to debug, it seems to stop at I and D cache enable functions, and example LED blinking disappeared. Has anyone encountered something similar and could help to fix this problem? Only change I made to the example code is set-up a PC8 as a PWM to drive a LED switch. Additionally, tried a mass erase and re-flashing, but still nothing, the problems remains the same as I mentioned. 

Hello,For one of my project, my goal is to use PTP to synchronise multiple STM32H563 to one host.However, when configuring the ETH Device, I can only enable RMII, as the "RMII_PTP_SYNCHRO" is greyed out.I've read the pop up that tells me to enable TIM2 as a slave with trigger source "ETR1 through Remap", Channel 1 as "Input Capture direct mode from Remap". And both "remap capabilities" are set to "is connected to ETH_PPS".Is there something that I'm missing ?Best regards

Hello STM32 Community,I am developing a system on the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q using ThreadX and NetX Duo and I am having a hard time to make the ethernet work. I want to implement a web server in my system but I cannot make the Ethernet communicate.Problem:I am unable to receive or transmit any Ethernet frames. The PHY link establishes successfully (from what I see on my linux terminal, autonegotiation completes, Link is UP, and the LEDs on the plug turns on normally), but pinging the Nucleo's static IP yields no response. Wireshark shows no ARP or ICMP packets originating from the Nucleo.Trying to debug, I see that the the MAC/DMA interrupt `ETH1_IRQHandler` is never triggered by incoming network traffic. It fires exactly twice during the initial board boot sequence(where, for what I understand, some DMA errors flag are raised), but remains completely silent afterward. From the logs that I send to the serial port it appears that from the NetXDuo point of view is everything fine.The D-cache is

I am measuring the current consumption using jumper JP6 (IDD measurement point). The jumper is removed and a multimeter is connected in series. Dear Forum,I'm using a STM32F401 and implemented the I2C as Target transmitter (Slave) answering a I2C question. I'm programming the I2C CR2 (FREQ Bits) Register as follows with correct speed (42 MHz)I2C1->CR2 = ((DRV_RCC_GetPCLK1Freq() / 1000000u) & I2C_CR2_FREQ_Msk); I've noticed some spikes when the STM32 I2C controller generates the answer, see below (yellow markings)Blue: Clock generated by the controller (the clock speed is about 200kHz)Red: Adrdess Byte generated by the controller, Data Bytes generate by STM32 I2C transmitter (answer) with spikesWhen the FREQ Bits of I2C_CR2 Register are zero, this spikes doesn't occur, see belowThe Reference Manual RM0368 Rev 6 for the I2C CR2 writes:It is noticed that this FREQ bits must be configured to generate I2C compliant Signals. Hello, I am working with an STM32 B-U585I development kit. The board has been previously used, and some protection-related configurations have been modified. I am now trying to perform new tests on the device, but I believe I am unable to bypass the current protection settings. I would appreciate your assistance on this matter. A TFM application was previously installed on the board. When connecting via STM32CubeProgrammer, I observe the following: 1. Hello, we are seeing a weird symptom in our application in which all LTDC registers are reading back the same seemingly random number.  This is during a debugging session via system viewer (we are using Keil 5.40 and compiler 5), OR when reading and printing out values to serial at runtime.  The LTDC seems to be operating properly (mostly, working through various issues but it's displaying graphics at least.  I'm stumped, and so are the AIs I use.  Any ideas as to why this might be?

Hello!I am using a 32.768 kHz TCXO (TG-3541CE) as the LSE to count the RTC.The MCU is an STM32L452RE.At room temperature, the RTC operates correctly, but at high temperatures (around 50 °C), the RTC stops.Strangely, once it has stopped, touching the MCU by finger causes the RTC to start running again.Suspecting an issue with the TCXO, I tried a different TCXO, but the same behavior occurred. When I added a 200 Ω damping resistor between the TCXO and the MCU, the RTC no longer stopped even when the temperature was raised to 60 °C.This seems to have solved the problem for now, but I am concerned about whether 200 Ω is an appropriate value and whether this is truly a fundamental solution.If you have any ideas about possible root causes or considerations, I would really appreciate your advice.

Hello everyone, I have a NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board and I am trying to use the HRTIM to output a 50Hz pwm signal. I hook the output to an oscilloscope and I see that the pulse has a period of 19.2ms instead of 20ms, meaning that while I have configured the clock for the HRTIM to run at 2MHz (meaning that it needs 40000 ticks to complete a period) it runs at 2.6MHz. Can anyone help me understand what am I doing wrong? I have attached the .ioc file. Thanks in advance!

I am currently trying to interface it with a BME668 environmental sensor and an AS7265x Spectral Triad sensor. However, I am facing an issue while attempting to view the output through a serial monitor. Despite trying multiple serial monitoring tools, both online and offline, I am unable to receive any data output from the board. I would greatly appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue.
