Dear sir/Mam While analyzing the reset handler code within the bl2.elf binary from Arm Trusted Firmware, we observed that the label S3_15_C2_C1_1 is being referenced in the cortex_a35_reset_func. We would like to request your clarification on the following points:Could you please confirm whether S3_15_C2_C1_1 refers to a system register?If so, is S3_15_C2_C1_1  the official name of the register?Additionally, we would appreciate your guidance on where this register is documented and how it can be accessed (e.g., using MSR/MRS instructions or through a specific architectural feature of the Cortex-A35). Thanks & RegardsAkshitha Pattem  

Hi All, can any one tell me what is the Maximum Speed of toggling GPIO on userspace and the kernel space.I was trying with kernel module programming with IOREMAP API i got 35 Nano seconds. but my requirement is maximum 8 Nano second, can any one please let me know is there any possibility. toggling GPIO at 8 nano second.  

I upgraded to the new development release. I can not create a OpenSTLinux project for my ioc file. I am working with the st32mp157f-dk2 and have installed the new v6.1.0 ecosystem. I have upograde rhw STM32CubeiDE TO V1.19.0.I set the SDK Root. an loaded the plugins. I have been able to create a user space and trusted applications. HI With some help from @Gregory PLANCHON and @Olivier GALLIEN I can now boot the processor in M33-TD flavour. Our application wants to also use the Cortex M0+ for a very low power mode. How to use the Cortex-M0+ - stm32mpu tells how to do this from A35/Linux environment. Is there a similar document on how to do this from M33/FreeRTOS environment?

I am working on STM32MP257F. I read the Artical "How to perform Secure Boot from Distribution Package". It doesn't seem to mention Sign or Sign & Encrypt FIP ​​Binary manually. In my case it is necessary to Sign/Sign & Encrypted FIP binary manually and do it outside of Yocto. Hi, I'm doing a custom hardware design.  I'd like to use LPDDR4 but only at 16bits of data width.Is there a list of LPDDR4 parts from Micron, ISSI, or others that are known to work with the STM32MP257?Are any parts that claim LPDDR4 ok?Thanks,John

I created an STM project of the STM32MP157f-dk2 in eclipse.I've tried to build the entire A7 core linux code. How do I replace what's on the dk2 now? The dk2 just has the starter package on it.

I'm very proud of STM32MP1 and I want to continue to learn more about the STM32MP products.So, I'm planning to create another single board computer such as the open source project STM32-Computer. My next project will be STM64-Computer, which will use STM32MP257.I have some questions that are refering to the STM32MP2 series.Can I surf on Youtube with that?Can I stream with that?Can I use regular programs such as Libre Office, Putty, Java, VS Code on that?Are there any limitations?How powerfull is the GPU? E.g can it do facial recognition?Is the setup, configuration, hard ware etc. almost the same as STM32MP1? I mean, if I have made a single board computer with STM32MP151, then a STM32MP257 will be exactly the same, just another more expensive and power full processor?Why is STM32MP257 so difficult to get? I can only see DigiKey have some few in stock.Is it possible to route the conductors on the PCB with 4 layers PCB, or do I need 6 layers or more for the STM32MP257? I know the getting

On the M4 core of a stm32mp157 I am using FIFO based FDCan communication.Messages are sent and received just fine but I think when I send too many messages in a short time some messages are getting lost.So I added a call to HAL_FDCAN_GetTxFifoFreeLevel before calling HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ to make sure there is space in the FIFO, but HAL_FDCAN_GetTxFifoFreeLevel always returns 0.Here some parts of my fdcan configuration:RxFifo0ElmtsNbr = 8;RxFifo0ElmtSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8;RxFifo1ElmtsNbr = 0;RxFifo1ElmtSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8;RxBuffersNbr = 0;RxBufferSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8;TxEventsNbr = 0;TxBuffersNbr = 0;TxFifoQueueElmtsNbr = 35;TxFifoQueueMode = FDCAN_TX_FIFO_OPERATION;TxElmtSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8;  What am I missing?

Has anyone here tried to stream Youtube or old playing games on STM32MP257?144p, 240p, 360, 780p, 1080p etc. Quake, Doom, Half-Life, perhaps Half-Life 2 as well. What was your experience and limitations? Very curious to know.

Hello,I am running on a stm32mp255dak processor with Linux running on the A35 core and FreeRTOS on the M33 core. I am running the M33 core code out of DDR.I am seeing an issue where the M33 core performance takes a hit and missed deadlines when the A35 core loads the DDR. The issue is very similar to the one described in this forum. https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1220944/am625-lpddr4-access-priority Does anyone know where to start looking to find the root cause of this issue? I done some investigation into the DDRCTRL registers and tired to mess if the QoS of the A35 core, but that did not seem to make a difference. It seems like the issue is a DDR contention issue between the two cores.

Hi Team, I am able to test "can0" module, from OpenSTLinux running on STM32MP257F-EV1 board, using the attached code "STM32MP2_Can0Test.c" compiled to binary (using AARM64 cross compiler from OpenSTLinux SDK) and PEAK PCAN Usb connected to FDCAN1 DB9 port of EV1 board, and results are as expected (found can0 to be working fine for Tx and Rx), see attached screenshot STM32MP2_Can0Test_Result.png. I changed can0 to can1 in STM32MP2_Can0Test.c and saved it as STM32MP2_Can1Test.c and tested for can1. I am following the "How to deploy SSP using a step-by-step approach". I am working on "3.1.2.2. Secret file content for STM32MP2 series". The target MPU is STM32MP257F. I have some questions as below:1. How do I know whether to choose "Format 1" or "Format 2"?2. I selected the binary file as FIP-EDMK, which is 256-bit but the KeySize shows 128-bit and it won't let me select 256-bit again. Is this acceptable?   

I'm investigating 2.5Gb Ethernet PHYs for our STM32MP257D board.  Most, if not all, require SGMII which is not explicitly supported in the ST MPU documentation.Anyone been down this road?Anyone know of a compatible 2.5Gb PHY that can use the STM32MP2xx RGMII?Thx
