Hi,How do I serve request Get Source Capabilities Extended? I'm using STM32G0B1 with a port configured as SRC.When a SINK sends the Get Source Capabilities Extended the STM PD library responds with 'Not Supported' and my code is not aware that this even did happen. Is there way to intercept and serve this request? Hi - when I attempt to download the driver for this device the download never completes; I get a file "Unconfirmednnnn.crdownload" in my download folder. I'm using Edge browser on a Windows 11 Home 64 bit operating system. Using Norton, can't see anything there that would prevent the download. Have successfully downloaded from other sites many times with no issues.Anyone with any insights?Thanks.

Hello,On a STM32H7RS are using the USB_OTG_HS peripheral in PCD_SPEED_FULL mode using internal clock.After I was able to configure the clock so that the MCU is responding on enumeration requests. Hello, I am currently using the NUCLEO-U545RE-Q and trying to set low-power modes with FreeRTOS. I have already seen videos from official ST channel and read documentation but I cannot get to set this functioning when using FreeRTOS and RTC. My goal is to blink an LED every 5 seconds and in the reamaining time go to STOP mode for low power consumption. Looking for something to try. I'm want to recover from a failed firmware update of an MLite-880 from Elecevolve after their their 1-click installer. Elecevolve suggested a manual install using the firmware binary and STM32CubeProgrammer. I can put the device in its "DFU FW update mode" and connect to the device from the STM32CubeProgrammer using USB. Is there a guide that shows how to set up a CDC USB device on the STM32N6 without using ThreadX in baremetal mode? I've tried following both, but it seems to hardfault on both examples crash at __lib_init_array(). I'm designing a USB-C charging circuit for a battery-powered device using the STUSB4531 for PD negotiation alongside a BQ25792 buck-boost battery charger. The BQ25792 handles the full VBUS power path internally (inrush limiting, reverse current protection, OVP, and dead battery support), so I'm trying to understand whether the external P-FET that STUSB4531 normally drives is still required. Specifically: 1. Can the GATE pin be left NC or tied off without affecting CC detection and PD negotiation? Or does the IC require a valid FET load on GATE to operate correctly?2. If the GATE pin must drive something, would it be acceptable to connect GATE to the BQ25792's CE (charge enable) pin instead of a FET gate — effectively using it as a charger enable signal rather than a loadswitch?3. Hi,I'm trying to control a BLDC motor connected to B-G431-ESC1 driver in Open Loop Voltage mode. With Motor Pilot control there's no problems. I'm not able to find the correct HAL commands to use for:A) Set Open Loop Voltage mode ( B) Set the reference voltageC) Set the speed in RPMStart, Stop, Ack Fault commands are ok. Hi, I try to get the USB-Host running with USBX. Hardware is a custom board with TCPP02 and STM32U575. Init process is running, but I never get an interrupt (ux_host_event_callback) when plugging in a USB stick. Any idea? ioc file and schematic are attached. Best regards, Achim

HiAccording to the reference manual the high-cycle capable Flash of a STM32H562 is mapped to the address 0x0900_0000 to 0x0901_7FFF. The Memory Management Tool of CubeMX does not allow me to generate a Region in this address range (see Error below). Is this correct or should CubeMX not allow the generation of a memory region in this range? The Flash Option Byte was configured for the use of the high-cycle Flash.As a work around I can of course manually edit the linker script.I use STM32CubeMX Version 6.14 with the Firmware Package V1.5.0 to generate a STM32CubeIDE project on Windows 11.  

I have been using RFAL succesfully with STM32L4. Hie, according to the documentation of the board, USART1 can be used with db9 port by setting up JP7 and JP8 to 1 and 2 ( which I did). The second thing is to connect usart_tx and usart_rx to PB14 and PB15.The problem is that nothing is showing up on the pc with DB3 port. I've check the tx port with an oscilloscope and I'm getting signal on data sending but only 1.1 V (in AC). I don't know if it's part of the issue but I hope someone has the solutionThanks

Hey there,I'm currently working on an audio application for the STM32U5A5 (which I'll later port to the STM32N657), using MDF.The application closely follows the MDF/ADF examples for audio recording found in the U5/N6 Cube firmware packages, with the difference that it does not output the transformed audio signal immediately via SAI, but instead stores it in a large buffer to download it later via the STMCubeProgrammer.Although the application generally works great, it does not record more than ~2 seconds of audio, even if I increase the size of the storage buffer (e.g., to a size corresponding to 4 seconds of audio recording capacity). No matter how large I set the buffer, the function HAL_MDF_AcqCpltCallback is called approximately 2 seconds after the recording starts. Hello, I want to use an I2C port of a STM32F411 MCU (MCU_A) in target mode to receive data from another MCU (MCU_B), MCU_B code already existing and verified with other receivers.I configured the project with STM32CubeMX, with interrupts enabled to handle communication in interrupt mode.I used MX standard settings to generate CubeIDE project with HAL code.With some effort for setting up the initialization and other code for MCU_A in CubeIDE, communication looks ok from sending MCU_B perspective.Additional check of SDA and SCL signals with DSO looks ok to. But the problem was: No data was transfered to the receive data buffer in MCU_A. After several hours of debugging, I found a suspicious code section in the HAL code (stm32f4xx_hal_i2c.c).In the HAL function     static void I2C_Slave_ADDR(I2C_HandleTypeDef *hi2c, uint32_t IT2Flags)which is called in     HAL_I2C_EV_IRQHandler ()when adress matches, the direction flag received from MCU_B

Hello Community,I'm trying to interface STM32 P-NUCLEO-WB55 with ADS1293 via SPI communication protocol, But there is a issue I'm unable to read data, to verify the SPI I tried to print "Reg10 = %d\r\n" but it is returning zero as value. There are 4 external events that can be chosen to trigger and reset individual counters of each HRTIM timer unit in STM32H743 MCU. CubeMX shows those events once the Event Configuration is chosen "Enabled" . Yet only Source 1 is active (allowed to be chosen) but the Source 3 that I need to connect internally to the TIM2 TRGO output is inactive (cannot be chosen) . Why? My attempts to use AI got strange results - after searching the STM documents AI concluded that CubeMX is limited , it allows only external on-pin connections and any internal connections must be manually coded in addition to the generated code. If it is so then why does CubeMX show those other options yet does not allow to choose them? Or is there way to activate those options ?Please anybody give me suggestion.Note: the STM32CubeMX is the latest downloaded and installed yesterday. The MCU library pack is also current.

I’ve tried searching, but haven’t been able to find a clear solution.I’m currently developing a system based on the STM32F746G Discovery board using TouchGFX for the touchscreen UI. In addition, I’m interfacing with a distance sensor over I2C. My goal is to log data (timestamp + sensor value, already formatted) to an SD card.The issue I’m facing is the following:When I enable only SDMMC and FatFS in CubeMX, I can successfully open a file and write data to it.However, when I integrate this functionality into my full project (which includes TouchGFX, FreeRTOS, and I2C), the SD card logging no longer works.I’d really appreciate any guidance or suggestions on what might be causing this or how to approach debugging it.Thanks in advance!
