hello  I have gone through the datasheet of ISO808. In the datasheet  ILim is 0.7A but for Channel Output Current (continuous) it is mentioned as internally limited. could you please give data for that or Is there any formula to calculate per channel continuous output current at particular ambient temperature.  best regards,  sabarinath

Hello,Not sure that the product I'm looking for exist. It should behave like LED driver but after looked through different LED I didn't find a product that meet my requirements:can drive 1 ... 15 LEDs connected in serieshave a possibility to change current through LEDs (not by PWM !)have a possibility to switch ON/OFF LEDs rapidly ... to assure bitrate 200kb/secDoes such a product exist ?Thanks.

Hello i want to use the LD1084 voltage regulator . I need to build a decoupling networks on the inputs and outputs of it. Is there are some recomendations regarding decoupling networks of this noise. Or if you have spice model of this component? Thanks.  

We have a +/-12V regulated power supply as part of our board design.The board takes a 5V input and passes this though a TI DCP020515DU DCDC. This gives us +/-15V unregulated. Each 15V rail has been tested with loads up to 60mA (our requirement is 30mA).The +ve output from the DCDC is regulated to +12V using an LM3480IM3X. This is nice and stable.The -ve output is regulated to -12V using an L79L12A.Even with no load there is noticeable -12Vdc ripple. As the load increase, then the ripple becomes large and the voltage goes beyond -12V to -13V.Your L79L datasheet states that no external components are required. The test circuit (figure 3) has input and output caps. We added the caps to our circuit.Can you suggest anything that could be the cause of this behaviour?We have temporarily replaced the ST regulator with another manufacturer which has a completely stable output.

Hi,I am facing a strange problem regarding the PDO2 output in STUSB4500. Inspite of setting PDO Number as 3 and configuring the PDO2 voltage and current values using the STSW-STUSB002 GUI, I am not able to get any voltage output at PDO2. The status LED is also not glowing. But PDO1 and PDO3 is working fine.If I change the PDO Number to 2 with the same voltage and current configurations as above, then I get the PDO2 voltage output. The status LED also glows. So, this is not the problem of Source Matching. And I am not able to find out the reason why this is happening and how can I make all the 3 PDOs to work smoothly.Is there anything that I am missing for making all the 3 PDOs work together?

Hello all,In the STDES-30KWVRECT Vienna Rectifier power circuit, 1. Relation between Q1 and Q2 switching pulses are IN-PHASE, likewise I want to know, How Q1 and Q3 switching pulses are related ?2. What PWM technique is used to generate switching pulses for Vienna Rectifier  STDES-30KWVRECT ? 

I'm using SCTWA60N120G2-4 for one of my power management PCB. However, I saw there is copper exposed on the component leads. Base on IPC 610-H requirement, exposed basic metal on component leads is defect, but it seems to me the expose metal is manufactory's design. I couldn't find any information in the datasheet or the tn1225 mounting instruction for through hole device package. Please helpAppreciate everyone!

I believe this is a TRIAC based on the circuit it is in, but I cannot find any data on this device nor vendors having it in stock.  It's a TO-220 package, could someone please explain the ST part numbering?  Thanks! 

I am trying to identify a transient voltage suppressor manufactured by ST that I need to replace.I have not been able to determine the correct product based on the coding found on the package. Would anyone here be able to identify this TVS?The coding appears to be C3J C616, but it is a bit unclear. The package is a surface mount approx. 3mm x 5mm. The TVS is used in a 24V pool actuator valve control system.

Hello,I am using the STUSB4710AQ1TR to charge some USB-C devices at the default 45W. I am operating in a mode that's only charging (no data communication). To do this, I used the recommended application schematic provided in the datasheet. My input voltage (Vin) is a 24V source created by a TI LM5116 (because my input voltage for our system is 48V and the ST1S14PHR cannot handle that high). When I am under load, the circuit works as intended and achieves the 45W power charging. However, when there is no load, I hear this clicking noise and the output of the LM5116 is much more variable. I've included an oscilloscope shot of the input voltage at no load.  I am using the same LM5116 circuitry to power some USB-A circuitry at 5V, and it does not experience this oscillation.  Does anyone know what would cause this?  

If the absolute maximum input value is 20V, how can there be a graph with 32V input value? :thinking_face:

The datasheet for the LD1086 specifies that I should use a 10 uF capacitor to filter the input/output of the device. The datasheet schematic for a typical application shows polarized filter caps. But the datasheet doesn't specify what type of capacitor I should use (polarized aluminum, polarized tantalum like LDO linear regulators, etc.).Should I use polarized tantalum caps? Or will even unpolarized ceramic caps work, as long as they're 10 uF? Thanks!

Hello,Since I'm trying to design a relatively simple and mainly small STM32MP157FAD1 board (MPU, DDR3L, eMMC, WiFi+BT, microphone, speaker and display), something like a wearable motherboard, I'd like to ask if it would be possible to power the whole system with just a 3.7V LiPo battery via STPMIC1 and if the output voltage will be automatically adjusted after I just replace the "5V_VIN" with my 3.7V input? Also, if I may ask, how do I then address the VBAT and the backup battery? I try to stick as much as possible to the schematics of the different solutions, but the diversity of their boards (Ethernet, USB, HDMI ports, GPIO extensions, ...) just confuses me. One last question, is there a way to externally program the processor (and other things like DDR or eMMC configuration) to save PCB space?Thank you very much in advance for any advice.Sincerely

I have  a product with replaceable battery (1S1P) , that can be changed by the user.User can put primary battery (non-rechargeable) 3,0V or rechargeable battery (3,7V).The rechargeable battery will be charged outside of the product. So the battery will only discharge inside the product. Is there any IC that can be used in order to obtain accurate capacity level, like  a battery gas gauge or coulomb counter?STC3115-FAQ page says that family  STC311x  could be used for primary and secondary cells ( because does not need charging/discharging cycles in order to report SOC, but rather the IC can  report SOC after only 2 seconds of running ,based on battery model internal tables, previously configured) 1.     I have made a custom pcb of STEVAL-ISV019V1  circuit. In that ,we need to charge 3.7v lithium ion battery via USB supply and solar panel. When I connect USB supply or panel voltage as input voltage  the complete input voltage is coming in the battery charging point. where as the lithium battery can only  be charged  up to 4.2V.when I measure the open voltage at battery charging point it appears greater than 4.2V.How can we set the charging voltage  and also how can I measure the open voltage at fully charged condition?

Hello,We are using the SPV1050 charger for our device, and we are planning to certify our device with FCC standards, so can you please advise some recommendations on the PCB design to fit the FCC requirements?   Also, someone recommend me to use a series resistor on the input power to reduce the radiation generated by the inductor, does this make sense? Thanks! 

Today I received several of my LED2000DR based LED boards. Everything worked flawlessly when using the chip as a plain LED driver. However, after trying to feed a PWM signal into the DIM pin the dimming worked for about a second but then the board went into a dead short. The input measures 0.7 Ohms on my DMM now. The only thing on the board is the LED2000DR and the LEDs it's powering. I tried this on several boards afterwards with the same result, some fail open, some fail as a short. The PWM was a 1000Hz 3.3V square wave with a variable duty cycle generated with a microcontroller (I also tried a PWM with full input voltage swing with a signal gen, but same result). Connecting the DIM pin to the positive/negative supply without any PWM worked fine. The ICs were obtained from DigiKey and have the following markings on them: "LED2K0", "G9302". Bellow I am attaching the schematic of the circuit in question.Please advise me how I can get dimming to work.Thank you.

Hi,  I have a requirement to drive a Triac from the MCU powered by a DC/DC converter. The AC supply is typ 24 VAC @ Rc terminal with respect to C terminal. The Triac is to be driven as attached. The MCU GND should always regulated at Rc - 3V3. The MCU output which drives the gate preferably will be connected straight, without the BJT. The gate current is II/III quadrants is typ 5 mA.   How do I configure a buck regulator and its input to achieve this? Cheers, Kaushalya

hello. I operated the EV KIT with the STSW-L9963E GUI, and checked until the MCU was connected. After that press the "Configure IDs" button and the ACK LED will change from green to red. And then there is no communication. I ran the GUI as written in the application note.When the power pin of L9963E is measured, VREG=6.5V, VCOM=5V, VANA=3.25V are output, so it seems that the power is applied properly.Test configuration : MCU : 12V, L9963e VBAT : 20Vthank you

I have an issue with the "Goto" command of the L6470 driver.Sometimes (rarely) I send a "Goto" command to the driver with an absolute target positon, and the driver goes a few steps (1 to 3) further.The driver is set to work in 1/128 steps.After each move I correct the current absolute position of the driver (by writing the ABS_POS register). Before doing that I check that driver is not Busy (Busy flag is high).After each move, once the driver is no more busy, I read the absolute position from the driver (ABS_POS register), and compare it to the desired target, sent with the "Goto" command.And sometimes I notice that both values are a few different (of 1 to 3 µsteps more than expected). The driver does not have any error flag active in the status register.Each time I have noticed the default the amplitude (between current position and target) of the move if very small (between 1 to 30 µSteps).I only got the issue around 3 or 4 times for maybe several thousands of moves in total.Bu
