Hello,Excuse me for being such a noob here but I'm having an issue with an STM32H7A3RTI6. I flash a basic blinky program with the stlink and then when I go to disconnect/reconnect the stlink to supply power to the chip it doesn't start up the program. I have to manually set NRST to ground to start the program again.Is there a way to toggle this pin at power up or am I doing something wrong?Thank you.

I am looking for a way to use a different editor for a STM32CubeIDE project. For the editor to show correct errors and provide code-completion, I would need a compile_commands.json file, which the clangd language server can use.I found this post which describes how to generate this file using an external program called compiledb. But I also found a setting in STM32CubeIDE under Project -> Properties -> C/C++ Build -> JSON Compilation Database Generator, which can be enabled to have STM32CubeIDE generate a compile_commands.json file when building automatically, which would be exactly what I need.But the created compile_commands.json file seems to be not correct, specifically the relative paths used for the includes are wrong.An exemplary entry in the compile_commands.json file looks like this:{ "directory": "/full/path/to/project/dir", "command": "arm-none-eabi-gcc \"/full/path/to/project/dir/Drivers/BSP/STM32H7xx_Nucleo/stm32h7xx_nucleo.c\" -mcpu\u003dcortex-m7 -std\u003d

Heyyyyyyyyy St community. I need Help regarding the installation of STM32CubeIDE. I have been trying to Download the latest installer file from ST website but I am unable to download it. I changed my browsers, my PC, I even tired Downloading the file from Linux. But still am unable to download it successfully. Can anyone of you Share the downloaded Installer with me through some drive link or Cloud storage? Its urgent please. 

recently purchased the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q development board and began testing the programming process. Using ST-Link, I’m able to successfully flash either the FSBL or the application firmware individually. However, after pressing the RESET button, the flashed program disappears, indicating that it wasn’t permanently stored.Upon further investigation, I learned that the FSBL and application need to be flashed separately using an external programmer, targeting the external Flash. Despite configuring the BOOT pins (BOOT0 = 0, BOOT1 = 1) as recommended, I haven’t been able to successfully program the external Flash using the programmer.I would like to ask:What is the correct procedure to flash both FSBL and application into external Flash?Are there any specific tools, configurations, or memory mapping requirements I should be aware of?Could this be related to linker script settings or Flash offset configurations?

I recently installed STM32CubeIDE on a new computer for the first time. Starting out my first project, and I immediately run into an issue that makes the MX portion basically completely un-usable. The problem is that when I want to change the configuration of a pin I simply... can't.For example, if I want to change PA2 (USART2_TX) Maximum output speed from low to high, before I would simply click on "low" and a small menu would pop-up that would let me change it to "high", and now that is just gone.All I can do is change the user label in the pinout view (which will make the configuration refresh and I will see the user label appear) but for example, I cannot simply click on User Label in the configuration window and type something in, it just wont let me do that.I have sure everything is running on the latest version; the IDE and all associated packages, as well as all my drivers and windows itself. I have tried completely uninstalling and re-installing CubeIDE, and when I say complet

My code gets complied without any errors. But just before the uploading completes: <signal handler> called at 0xfffffff9 is displayed.Even though after that my code runs properly without any hardfault.

Hello,I am currently using a F4 processor in HAL together with the Stm32cubeIDE.Thus the IDE generates F4 hal files which later are included in the main program.  To access the specific functions I need to #include "stm32f4xx_hal.h" in my own programs and libraries to make the HAL available in my programs.  When I later want to change the platform to an F7 processor I would need to change all the code to #include "stm32f7xx_hal.h". This is very inconvenient. How can I avoid this problem? Thanks in advance Alexander

It does it only on one PC out of several, however.More details here (EEVBLOG link, not dodgy, had to do this because this forum cuts pieces out of URLs to other forums)https://tinyurl.com/4r5uwt2s I've tried the Xmx1024m stmcubeide.ini file parameter, to 768m, which reduces (see above link) the memory used, but Cube still eats up all the physical memory.24GB RAM machine.

Enabling or disabling the two settings generates the same code. Please fix it.

- Folder in projects shows no file (empty) when expanding.There are already files in project folders in path.

Hi. I was using STM32CubeIDE 1.14.0 until yesterday.Build Analyzer worked fine in 1.14.0, but after updating to 1.15.0 using the update feature provided by CubeIDE, nothing is displayed in Build Analyzer. The build was successful and the <project>.map file was created, but the Build Analyzer information was not displayed, and I uninstalled and reinstalled CubeIDE, but it was the same.   

hello, I have started a project where I have to use SPI, USART, and some modified labeled GPIOs in the nucleo-H755ZI-Q (nucleo-144). Whenever I configure the GPIOs in my ioc file and click generate code. My Cube IDE is not auto-generating code for my modified GPIOs. i have checked again and again there is no option for selecting the core for GPIO_output. Has anyone ever encountered such a problem? For reference, I will attach my project file.  1. I have used Cube MX for generating the IOC file and then imported it into Cube IDE. It did not work.2. I have repair reinstalled my Cube IDE. No use, did not work. 3. I have downloaded and installed the upgraded version 1.18.1. still facing the problem.4. I have downloaded and installed the 1.16.0 version. still facing the same problem.

Hello, I just updated from 1.12.0 to 1.13.0 and now when i save changes it asks me to sign in to mySt to download a software package. When i try to login to my ST i get this error: I am on my work network, not sure if that matters. I trying to debug to find what line in initialization function throw hard fault and cant understand why "jump over" dont work like expected, in some moments jumps not to next row in code, then goes back...After running normally must start at  SCB_EnableICache() line, but starts from main:Then step by step must goes in that way:But goes/jumps in this way:SCB_EnableICache();SCB_EnableDCache();MPU_Config();MX_GPIO_Init();SystemClock_Config();And throws hard fault error inside SystemClock_Config function at HAL_Delay(HSE.....I am not sure if hard fault is fired because there is misconfig in cubeMX (I think not), or there because in some way is missed HAL_Init and other initializations, code cleaning, restarting and other things does not change anything, I have posted about some other problems earlier with initializations and bugs, but now I stuck there and cant work with code at all, cubeMX, cudeIDE, mcu package and everything else is updated to last available versions !Main

There is the problem for STM32Cube FW_C0, i need to use v1.1.0 because in v1.2.0 its no able to set PA9/PA10 as uart on my chip but i cant to select v1.1.0 which installed on my PC.

HI,Just notifying this as a solution if someone else has the same problem.By no apparent reason, the columns of IAC page on .ioc configuration editor running on CubeIDE become uselessly narrow (see image below). Restart the IDE did not help. Other pages show normally. In CubeMX this does not happen.The solution is to move the separator bar between the project hierarchy panel and editor panel to left. Apparently the IAC page does not handle the width scaling correctly (other pages on that tab do that nicely).Cheers, heke 

I am using Stm32 N657X0-Q board with a stm32cubeide version 1.18, started with creating new project-> gave name-> selected appli in project structure-> selected gpio pin PA5 as output -> and generated code but in code generation under core-> there is no related files inside src and inc folders. can you help me in how to use this board.
