STM32 MCUs Software development tools

The STM32N6 reference manual shows that IC18 drives the CSI2Host and CSIPHY IP blocks at a maximum frequency of 200 MHz. CubeMX generates this clock configuration code but does not show the clock path in the clock configuration window. Reporting two issues when using STM32CubeMX v6.16.1 to generate STM32N6 code. I created new secure only template project for STM32N6570-DK to demonstrate the issue (it's attached).Only changes to the new project are these:In MMT defined RAM2 area over AXI SRAM3-6. I am asking this question because I am a relatively new engineer working with STM32 and Cube IDE. When choosing the MCU to create a new project for my new board containing the STM32F401CCU6, I see that it is not listed and only STM32F401CEU6 appears. Can I create the project based on this model number and will everything work the same? I wanted to try it myself, but today has been a tough day, so I would appreciate your help with an answer tomorrow when I get to the office to save time.Thank you in advance.  

I have recently Intigrate GithubCopilot in STM32CubeIDE.Issue is I can not able to change font of copilot chat. Its very small and diffuclt to read.I tried all option in fonts and color menu.I am using On Linux(Ubuntu -24.04 LTS)

Hello,I'm trying to use STM32CubeProgrammer with STLink Debug Interface on remote Windows Serveur via RDP.I installed the driver, the device is detected via USB Redirectionbut STM32CubeProgrammer doesnt detect the interface:If I directly plug the device on a physical port, it works well. Do someone successfully set up such a configuration ? Is there any special detection on the app ? It would avoid us to install about 60 windows on our clients!Thanks :)

Split from old thread Debug: "No source available for main()"This is not the same question.Little late to the party but I have the same issue kinda. I switched to other branch in our project and I had the very same result. Then I took all suggested steps and I get when I tried to debug:No source available for "__floatdisf() at 0x800216e" Besides after switching to that branch program compiles just fine but doesn't work. All of this is of some settings that remained in project and weren't covered in git commit, but it's hard to commit every single file in CubeIDE enviroment. All important files were covered like all code files and ioc etc. i always switch when Cube is not running because it also creates issues. Any ideas?

In iDE version 1.19, there was an STM32 Project creation feature, but it disappeared when I updated to 2.0.

Hi Team, Urgent help required!! Today I have update my CubeIDE to the latest version, before the update i have had several projects saved, but none of it is launching in CubeIDE, when i click on the .IOC file from CubeIDE it opens on CubeMX and when i clock on generate code it says "The Code is successfully generated under :C:/Users/S****** H******/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.16.0/Door Module Testing" and as soon as i click on Open Project it goes to CubeIDE and shows main.c file. When I try to open the .IOC in CubeIDE it redirects to CubeMX again, a never ending loop has formed. Attaching screenshots for your review. Hello all.I'm writing an application with the NUCLEO-H563ZI board (with the intention to use later the STM32H563 into a custom board).My application will communicate with a master PC via the embedded Ethernet, exchanging process data and commands.The protocol will be, most probably, Modbus/TCP.I've been able to configure the board (I/O), run the ThreadX OS, setup and run netXDuo middleware.I set up a TCP socket server connection on the STM32, with a C# test application as a client.I can open the socket from the C# client, send ad receive TCP packets almost correctly.The TCP server on the STM32 receives a packet from the client, extract the payload (data) from it, creates a new packet, copy the payload to the new packet and then echoes back the new packet to the client.This will change in the future, of course, but for the first tests it seemed nice to get back the same data.Here I have a problem.Everything works fine if the packet payload is less than 516 bytes long; over such a thresh

Hi,I find even I disable Non-Secure Project's "Project References" to the secure one, the secure project still automatically build when I build the Non‑Secure one.And I find the "disable Project References" setting is work only when the 1st time build the Non-Secure Project after STM32CubeIDE open. After the 1st time build, STM32CubeIDE ignores the 'disable' setting.Snaku.

I'm considering migrating from STM32F469NIH6 to STM32F769NIH6. From data sheets it is apparant that these two MCU's have compatible pinout, however the pinout compatibility tool of STM32CUBEMX V6.15.0 doesn't show these MCU's as compatible, why is this?

Hi,I can't debug my application through GDB and ST-Link when the computer has no internet connection. I get this error:All bundles, both System and project, are up-to-date. When I connect to the internet, I can debug fine, but when I then disconnect and immediately try again (without exiting VS Code), I can't debug anymore.IMO debugging should be possible without an internet connection, e.g. when having to fix an error in the field.Regards,Niklas

After updating and restarting my PC with Windows 10, my old version of CubeProgrammer would not open at all. The version number is unknown. Other STM32 software works without any issue such as CubeMX and CubeIDE.I then tried installing the latest version, 2.21.0. The program launched (even when run as administrator), but it did not function fully. I attached a screenshot for reference. None of the four icons on the top-left responded, and I received error messages when clicking the icons on the right.I also tried installing previous versions from 2.16.0 to 2.20.0, but none of them worked. Specifically:Versions 2.16.0, 2.18.0, and 2.19.0 briefly showed the launch logo, then closed immediately.Versions 2.20.0 and 2.21.0 would open, but the program remained unusable. 

Hello,i have project with a'n STM32H743II on a custom board. I use a J-Link Plus to debug and download the program, everthing was working fine. When i updated to version 2.0.0  downloading the program elf file failed. I have installed the stm32 cube ide , after creating the project i am get .ioc file for the configuration , i have done reinstall process but i am unable to clear the issue , the ide is opened as the image attached . 

CubeMX version 6.16.1 I found STM32WBA55CG project with ThreadX,  the  parameter of "TX_LOW_POWER_USER_ENTER" and "TX_LOW_POWER_USER_EXIT" will be reset to default after the ioc re-open.This bug can be 100% reproduce.

I have setup a project with vscode and stm32 extension, and after compiler, it can do debug, and I can see the Global Variables on the VARIABLES window. as belowbut when I use vscode to do another design not with stm32 extension. I do the debug, but I cannot see the Global Variables on the VARIABLES window. as below, only Locals and Registers.Why no Global Variables? what is the difference among the 2 vscode?Thanks. 

Hello,I need to develop an external memory loader for a custom board with the STM32U375 and Macronix MX25U6432F NOR-Flash as external memory. The interface is via OCTOSPI1.I have already tested the interface functions to access the external memory and everything is working fine when used within a "normal" application running in the STM32U3 internal flash.As I am using the STM32CubeIDE, I created the code for the external memory loader based on the templates in https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader/tree/contrib. I am using STM32CubeIDE v 1.19.0 and STM Cube Programmer v 2.21.0.When I try to use the external loader in the CubeProgrammer, I can see (with some debugging) that the Init() function is called by STM Programmer, but fails quite early during HAL_Init(). With further debugging, I found out that the reason for the failing HAL functions seems to be the missing initialization of the global variables, i.e. the variables in the .data and .bss secti
