Hello ST Community,I M USING STM32H745I-DISCO (MB1381-H745XI-B02), WHICH COME DEFAULT MII MODE, TO CONFIGURE IT ON RMII, WHAT CHANGES I HAVE TO DO IN HARDWARE, IOC. AS THIS BOARD HAVE ETHERNET IC LAN8742A-CZ-TR WHICH HAVE BOTH MII,RMII PROTOCOLS.AS I HAVE SEEN SOME VIDEOS ON ETHERNET FOR DIFFERENT STM32 CONTROLLER IN RMII, I M NOT ABLE TO GET RESULT.  I WANTED TO KNOW DO THIS BOARD CONFIGURE IN RMII, IF YES THEN TELL ME HOW I CAN DO. It looks like I have the 32F469IDISCOVERY board that looks to be powered ok via USB connector CN13, however the board doesn't appear to have demo software preloaded. COM LED LD6 flashes red. I note on the ST website that there is the 32F469IDISCOVERY compiled demo binary, which I have downloaded. The Readme says: The QSPI external flash loader is not integrated with supported toolchains, it ís only supported withSTM32 ST-Link Utility V3.7 or later. But the ST website says that the ST-Link Utility is NRND and to use STM32CubeProg instead. I've tried the latest version of STM32CubeProg and it can't connect to the board via USB: Error: Establishing connection with device failed. What is the best way of programming the board with this file please? Kind regards, Al

CubeMX 6.17. When creating a new project for H533RETx or for the corresponding Nucleo-H533, SYSCLK is set at 32 MHz.Not sure whether or not it is intended, but it looks like a trap for a new user, since the MCU datasheet talks about 250 MHz.Instead, example projects for Nucleo-H533 (at least the couple that I've seen) quite reasonably run the MCU at 250 MHz, driven from the crystal present on the board.

Dear,When running the FSBL that includes HAL XSPI initialization logic on the Nucleo-N657X0-Q board (MB1940-N657X0Q-C02), the flash erase with the STM32CubeProgrammmer v2.22 sometimes fails. However, if I leave out the XSPI initialization logic for accessing the NOR flash, flash erase always succeeds. BOOT pin 1 is set to DEV and I am loading the FSBL firmware directly into RAM.Do you have any idea why XSPI Init causes the flash erase to fail ?BR,EdwinD 

I have created a project with a scroll wheel of 10 items, each item is displaying a single digit 0-9. Imagine an odometer for instance.  I am incrementing a variable(num) every second and usingscrollWheel.animateToItem(num, 20);to scroll through the list of items, it is working as expected until it gets to 9. Instead of it the scroll wheel continuing to rotate the same direction to 0 it reverses the direction of rotation and scroll past all other digits to get back to zero.  I have verified I have the scroll wheel set as "Circular" and it does indeed display the scroll wheel correctly as if it was circular.  Can I somehow change this behavior?

HelloI have my own board with STM32G071KBT6 microcontroller. I successfully comunicate with charger by PD protocol and I receive up to 21 V (PPS). But I need above 21V. I have power bank with AVS up to 28V and USB cable with e-marker (up to 240W). How to configure the stack to receive EPR parameters? I have no TCPP IC, but I use my own protection circuit. In the trace the EPR commands isn't present. I use STM32CubeIDE 2.1.1 and STM32CubeMX 6.17.0.Thanks a lot and best regards

Hi, the extension version is 3.8.0, and it usually takes 5min to load, is that normal? Also, is there any CDN or dedicated server for Chinese users? cuz it's troublesome to download those bundles here. Thx

I got an error when downloading the .sfi file to STM32H753II using the STM32Programmer_CLI, my HSM version is V2AE.The error message is as follows: What its mean?V2AE cannot support STM32H753,and must use HSM_V1?or H753 cannot support SFI ?I’m a new use about SFI.Looking forward to your reply.

Hi all.I'm new to STM, but have been designing and making embedded MCU products for over ten years.I was drawn to the STM32F105 series because of the USB DFU, to allow for field updates for prospective customers to update a product we're developing. Outside of USB DFU functionality, we just need 3x UART's, one GPI, one GPO. That's it. We steer clear of USART1 because of it's overlap with OTG_FS pins. We have got our product working using a ST-Link programmer, but not as yet using the USB DFU.Our USB connection just isn't enumerating. The wiring is correct when compared to off-the-shelf STM32 enabled boards with OTG USB interfaces.I am across the date code bootloader issue as described in AN2606, our chips definitely come with bootloader 2.2. I have VBUS from the USB-C tied to PA9 (OTG_FS_VBUS). Yes, USB-C but with the 5.1K resistors between CC1, CC2 and GND. NRST is pulled to 3V3 with a 10K pull-up. Boot0 and Boot1 is pulled to GND via a 10K pull-down, Boot0 also runs to a tactile NO p

Hi, I've just installed v2.14.0 for the first time, but it will not start up. All I get is the blue STM screen for a few second, then it disappears. I tried the command prompt start up detailed in This Post but I end up with an error message, shown below. I need help on how to proceed as I do not have JRE installed on my PC, but have had it in the past. Hi: My goal is to perform full-duplex I2S using the STM32F722RET6 part. To achieve this using the pins available on the package it looks like I need to use SAI2 (sub-block B) as the master/TX and SAI1 (sub-block A) as a slave/RX synchronized to SIA2.The configuration of SIA2 in CubeMX works fine.  However, when I attempt to configure the slave side (SAI1-A) the I2S option is greyed out (see below). Hi, I'm working on the STM32H7S7L86H with cube MX 6.17 and cube H7RS 1.3.0I need to use RNG in appli and boot context but it is grayed because it accept only one context. It also block the usage of the hash module.Any idea how to fix this ?Thanks

Hello,I am using STM32H750 and X-Cube-Crypto lib. I am working on a secure boot and want to calculate the app Hash value to check integrity. The library works fine for STM32L5 Mcu (Already tested) but not with STM32H750. I verified that I am using the correct lib libSTM32Cryptographic_CM7.a.The issue I get is a Hardfault triggered by a function in the lib. When I investigated more, I found that The Mcu tries to load data from a Peripheral Register not mapped for STM32H750 MCU.What do yo think could be the issue? Thanks,Ayoub

Hi,I am using the STM32CubeProgrammer API (v2.20.0) on Windows 11 using the Visual Studio UART example as a base. Everything works fine, however this issue is slowing down the programming workflow.After programming the MCU option bytes to RDP1 (or Closed state on some newer devices), there is a long delay (20 to 30 seconds) during the attempts to reconnect to the device. I already expect that the reconnection attempt will fail, so is there a way to reduce the time or number of reconnection attempts? Or a way to cancel the current operation? The time taken for failed reconnection attempts is 2x longer than the actual programming of the MCU.I noticed that there is a getCancelPointer() function in the API, but I have found no documentation or examples on how to use it. Stm32l010r and s2lp using x cube sub ghz , for custom board just for coding only gpio button status, there are plenty of error, by solving all those 4-5 errors remain and their resolving method is to complete change of middleware files or some code left in file even check through free AI they finally there no such files in middleware add some, for adding it will not compatible with existing file. If tried in stm32wl33cc it also shows so many error but finally there something missing. There are some radio.spi.h and some similar files there in s2lp nucleo example in spirit 2 workshop project, but in s2lp middleware they are not available and look like board specific. If any available example and transmitting and receiving data for s2lp and stm32wl33cc.

Hello All,I have a certain STM32H7 that I can't erase sector 0 using STM32CubeProgrammer.I think it is because PROT_AREA_START1 and PROT_AREA_END1 are not correct. I am trying to get back to default values of PROT_AREA_START1 =0xFF (0x0800ff00)PROT_AREA_END1 = 0x00 (0x080000ff) to disable the protection.However I cant Actually change the option bytes through the programmer. How can I debug an STM32N6 project when using a load-and-run configuration? CubeMX generates two separate projects, and I’m able to debug each one individually when the BOOT1 pin is set high. However, it seems that if I only debug the application project, the FSBL never executes, so the system clocks aren’t initialized. What’s the correct approach to debugging both projects together?I came across a debugging guide, but it only applies to the XIP configuration.

Hello everyone.I have recently made my own STM32 board based on the STM32F405. After soldering all the components and testing all pads and connections, finding them to be wired correctly and checking that the 3.3V is being supplied to all the correct pins, I tried to upload some code, but to my shock, the STM32F405 isn't establishing a connection via the ST-Link V2 nor the USB cable. After trying multiple fixes, I suspect the issue might be the STM32F405 chip that I got off AliExpress itself. Before taking any further steps to replace it, I decided to post a question here for review in case the problem was in my PCB design. And sure enough, I had misplaced the chip pin due to the faulty pinout diagram I used as reference.I have since fixed the chip's orientation and rechecked all pad and pin connections, as well as the 3.3V supply, and found everything to be correct; yet I still cannot get the STM32 CubeProgrammer or IDE to connect with my board using the ST-Link V2 or a

The MCU I use is H533, but I guess the SPI peripheral in other MCUs would be similar.I'm looking for the recommended way to regularly transmit over SPI "small" data frames (in the sense that one frame fits into the FIFO) that can vary in size. For example, in response to different events I would be updating values of different DACs or shift registers and they all have their own data frame format and size, usually between 16 and 32 bits.SPI peripheral has TSIZE and DSIZE settings seemingly exactly for that, but they require disabling the SPI peripheral to be changed (for TSIZE it's documented, for DSIZE, it seems not), and it adds latency to transfers.So far it seems the optimal approach in my case is to as follows. Hi,I am using SBSFU v2.8 with an STM32H750. I have successfully booted my firmware without any protections. I have also enabled protections and succeeded all tests in the test suite provided in the example code in sfu_test.c.However, when I attempt to boot my firmware with any protections enabled at all, I get the following, followed by a reset.This is happening at the first control flow check at line 1092 in sfu_boot.c.In my research, I found this post. I replicated it and included app_sfu.h in sfu_boot.h. It works now.I would like some clarification on this whole situation. Is this a bug? or is my build system just not including app_sfu.h appropriately ?Thanks!
