Hi, I’m working with an STM32C011F6P6TR device, and after programming it via SWD using STM32CubeProgrammer, the MCU became completely stuck in resetSymptoms- After programming an ELF file through STCubeProgrammer, the MCU no longer runs.- The NRST pin stays LOW permanently, even after power cycling.- I cannot reconnect with STM32CubeProgrammer, even using “Connect Under Reset” mode.- The tool returns: DEV_HELD_UNDER_RESET.- Removing power, disconnecting ST-LINK, reconnecting, and trying again does not help.Before programming, everything worked normally and I was able to connect and flash multiple times (Using VS-CODE and ST extension).Questions:What could cause the MCU to remain stuck in reset after flashing?Is it possible that option bytes got corrupted or misconfigured during programming?Is there any way to force a full chip erase or restore factory option bytes when the device cannot be accessed through SWD?Has anyone encountered a similar issue with the STM32C0 series where NR

I am running Linux Mint And I have had STMCubeIDE 1.7 and 1.9 and just installed 2.0. It gave me an error the first time which I forgiot to write down, but it was in the window that normally lets me edit the .ioc file to assign my pins and activate the peripherals. I looked in the community and someone said unclick CDT in the Available Software Sites. Now it does not even ask to create/edit the .ioc file. I am wondering if things are getting confused because I have 3 versions of the STM32CubeIDE installed. Hi, may I confirm whether the STM32H755 supports only the muxed PSRAM configuration? I want to experiment something with an unmuxed connection with separate data and address. Is there a work around on this or is it an internal design that I cannot change

Hello everyone.In a couple of past days I was trying to make the code execution from external PSRAM to work. I managed to load the code into external FLASH and then copy it to PSRAM at boot stage. The code runs nice but can't debug it for some reason. Debugging worked when I was running the code directly from external FLASH but when I introduced copying the data to PSRAM and running it from there I started to get errors. It wont even let me Run the program if I dont exit the debugger.I don't understand how it can't access the memory despite the application running fine. Edit: I found out that if I debug Boot project but add symbols from Application project too I can debug both fine.

Hello,I’ve created a custom STM32Cube Pack using STM32Cube Pack Creator and added an example project inside the pack. The pack builds successfully and installs correctly in CubeMX. However, the example I added does not appear in the CubeMX Example Selector.It appears in "Repository/Packs" in my user folder in c:/Details:Pack created with STM32Cube Pack CreatorExample project added under the Examples folder in the pack structurePack installs fine and is visible in CubeMXThe example does not show up in the CubeMX Example Selector listQuestions:Are there specific requirements or metadata (e.g., .pdsc file entries, example description XML) that must be included for CubeMX to recognize and display the example?Could this be related to the folder structure or naming conventions inside the pack?Any guidance or documentation on ensuring custom examples appear in CubeMX would be appreciated.Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,we thoroughly use STM32H750 DK systems on our faculty and install VSCode and STM32 plugins on all classroom computers each school year. We have noticed, that plugin is installed in home directory of each user, which is a big struggle for our situtation. Can we somehow create "per system" installations of CubeIDE and as alternative IDE VSCode + STM32 plugin to be installed in some common folders for all students that work on PCs?Thanks in advance,Robert.

I upgraded STM32Cube IDE to 1.12.0, and now when I double-click the IOC file, it just displays a text file, not the processor pin / configuration diagrams, etc.  I tried closing and re-opening the project(s) and closing and re-opening CubeIDE.  No change.

Hi,I have existing projects under the tried-and-trusted STM32CubeIde which I have previously built using the headless build option from GitHub actions, with CubeIDE pre-installed. This works well.I'm investigating use of the Stm32Cube for VS Code extension, that will enable us to use the Cursor AI fork of VS Code and have got the projects building correctly on my dev machine, using cmake files. All works well on my machine, but am trying to work out what steps are needed to get this working on GitHub actions. I understand (I think) that I need to have the extension installed to provide the 'cube' executable wrapper for cmake, setting up the correct path for the toolchain. So, do I need to install VS Code and the ST extension under my GitHub action yaml file to allow this all to build? I'm expecting to use the command line: `cube cmake --preset Release`  followed by `cube cmake --build --preset Release` or similar. But I'm not sure what I need to install/configure prior t

I installed STM32Cube for VS Code extension and then created an empty project.But the "Setup STM32Cube project(s)" on the STM32CUBE KEY ACTIONS is still in gray color. Is there something that I missed? My environment is as follows. - Windows 11 - VSCode: 1.106.3 - STM32Cube for VS Code:  3.6.4  

I am trying to toggle an led and in the debugger I am getting the error: "Break at address "XXXXXXX" with no debug information available, or outside of program code "; before the program ends itself. I've sourced the error back to the HAL_Delay, I think the HAL_GetTick is getting stuck in a infinite while loop and not updating I am using the stm32WL30KBV6 and currently only have decoupling capacitors, and VCap hooked up to it. I am using the internal clocks. I am debugging over SWD. I saw a previous post about the possible issue being boot0 being held, but I couldn't find a boot pin for this specific MCU. My timebase source in my IOC file is SysTick. I'm pretty lost right now, so any help is appreciated

2.0 of STMCubeIDE loads but is missing the New Project 'wizard' of 1.15:2.0 only allows a blank project to be created, but missing the graphic of the uP.1.15 allows wizard to run but then fails at the last step with error message something to do with embedded software, no matter what I try it always does the same. Is anyone having any sucess of getting this STMCubeIDE to actually run as its supposed to on a Mac?

Hi all,I've been in the process of switching from the GNU toolchain (which is working alright) to the ST-provided clang but I am having difficulties with the mentioned extension.The following has two links to two different branches of the same repository. After configuring and building if you open e.g. "Core/Src/i2s.c" you can see an error message at the very beginning:"Unsupported option '-mcpu=' for target 'x86_64-pc-windows-msvc'".It seems as-if the cross-compilation settings for the clangd program are not set at all. For some reason it belives we are building for the host architecture.There is also a second problem with clangd, but it is related to the STM32CubeF0 repositor

Hello, Microsoft has updated their Visual Studio Marketplace Terms of Use to bar vscode forks from using extensions from their marketplace. I'm currently using the Cursor IDE, which has recently switched over to open-vsx.org for their extension marketplace and thus, I no longer have access to STM32 for Visual Studio Code extensions.Are there any plans to cross-publish the official STM32 for Visual Studio Code extension over to open-vsx.org?

I have tried to import example project, in that after selecting example and board then it tried to unzip the required F4 packages(stm32cube_fw_f4*) but 1280 is unzipped successfully but 1283 cant unzip this error remains what to do to solve this?

Hello,I try to connect the STM32CubeProgrammer (v2.20.0) to the STM32L496 that has enabled Read-Out Protection, but it is not possible. I need just to do the full chip erase and download new firmware.I remember that STM32CubeProgrammer (v2.0.0) allowed to erase the whole ship and connect to MCU successfully. Unfortunately, this old version doesn't work on Windows 11.Please help me to execute these two steps (full chip erase and connect) for the STM32L496 that has Read-Out Protection enabled.Thanks,Alex

The STM32 uses UART5 as a debug port and also as the communication interface to the external MCU.In testing, I see CubeProgrammer calling Write() repeatedly with non‑sector‑aligned sizes and addresses that don’t start at sector boundaries. Sample output from my loader:Starting... Hello,With the latest release of the extension (3.6.4), the pre-release version (based on bundle manager) was moved to be the official release, thus making CLT obsolete.My original launch file (based on CLT) does not work anymore, it included a Debug script, an Attach script, and a build+flash-only script.To create a compatible launch file, I used the preset script - "STM32Cube: STM32 Launch ST-Link GDB Server" by using vscode's "create a launch.json file" option.This does work for debugging, but creates a few issues-a. Doe's not contain an "Attach" option - I could not find any help on the options for configuring the "stlinkgdbtarget" script type.b. The "Memory Inspector" which is part of the extension pack, does not work anymore with the generated launch file. I get a "No debugger attached" while debugging.c. The vscode reset debug button does not reset the core anymore - it re-flashes the device. Can anyone help me create a launch file that will contain these features based on
