Hi, I've just installed v2.14.0 for the first time, but it will not start up. All I get is the blue STM screen for a few second, then it disappears. I tried the command prompt start up detailed in This Post but I end up with an error message, shown below. I need help on how to proceed as I do not have JRE installed on my PC, but have had it in the past. Is there anyway to increase the size of the icons in the top menu bar in the IDE?I am 70 now and my eyesight needs a wake-up here :)

Hi: My goal is to perform full-duplex I2S using the STM32F722RET6 part. To achieve this using the pins available on the package it looks like I need to use SAI2 (sub-block B) as the master/TX and SAI1 (sub-block A) as a slave/RX synchronized to SIA2.The configuration of SIA2 in CubeMX works fine.  However, when I attempt to configure the slave side (SAI1-A) the I2S option is greyed out (see below). Hi, I'm working on the STM32H7S7L86H with cube MX 6.17 and cube H7RS 1.3.0I need to use RNG in appli and boot context but it is grayed because it accept only one context. It also block the usage of the hash module.Any idea how to fix this ?Thanks

Hi,I am using the STM32CubeProgrammer API (v2.20.0) on Windows 11 using the Visual Studio UART example as a base. Everything works fine, however this issue is slowing down the programming workflow.After programming the MCU option bytes to RDP1 (or Closed state on some newer devices), there is a long delay (20 to 30 seconds) during the attempts to reconnect to the device. I already expect that the reconnection attempt will fail, so is there a way to reduce the time or number of reconnection attempts? Or a way to cancel the current operation? The time taken for failed reconnection attempts is 2x longer than the actual programming of the MCU.I noticed that there is a getCancelPointer() function in the API, but I have found no documentation or examples on how to use it. How can I debug an STM32N6 project when using a load-and-run configuration? CubeMX generates two separate projects, and I’m able to debug each one individually when the BOOT1 pin is set high. However, it seems that if I only debug the application project, the FSBL never executes, so the system clocks aren’t initialized. What’s the correct approach to debugging both projects together?I came across a debugging guide, but it only applies to the XIP configuration.

Hi All!I'm starting with a project with STM32H573 + STiRoT + Trustzone + Crypto + FreeRTOS + DA.My preference is to do development and debugging in Visual Studio Code instead of the Eclipse based IDE.I got to the point that I can build a secure/encrypted application (still without FREERTOS at this point) in VS Code and was able to provision my board.However, I can't really find anything on debugging in VS Code with Debug Authorization.I did find the tutorial on CLI DA for provisioning and regression (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/implementing-debug-authentication-on-stm32h5-using-cli-tools/ta-p/622308) but not for actual debugging in VS Code. Maybe I've overlooked this on the forum and/or application notes. I'm hoping that someone can give me a push in the right direction. Or is this not officially supported in VS Code yet and am I bound to Eclipse IDE at this point in time?With kind regards,Martijn

Hello, I have a simple CubeMX project with the STM32N6 MCU, and I cannot seem to be able to uncheck the FREERTOS option from the FSBL to move it to the Application.  Is there something I am doing wrong? Thank you

Hi,I'm using STM32H5F5LJHxQ. External HSE Oscillator is 48MHz. RTC clock mux is set to HSE_RTC, divider set to "/48" and the tool shows correctly that RTC clock is 1000kHz (48MHz / 48).During my tests I discovered a wrong RTC time, error ~2%. Hello ,   I was planning on using the new STM32C5A3RGT6 for my new project but after reading the comments regarding the stm32cubemx2 , i am reconsidering this decision. I also saw that zephyr is providing support for stm32c5.    My question would be then what would be a good source for learning stm32cubemx2 because coming from stm32cubeide 1.17 it is a big change.

When I calling this function or I hover the cursor over the function name a tooltip with the function code pops up, but I want to see description of the function (@brief parameter from documenting comment, see Figure 1).Figure 1

Hi,  i'm missing something in the configuration of alternate function on STM32C092. I can't get working alternare function on shared pin, interested physical pin are  PIN 1, 15, 20.  Example1: PIN15 only the function on PA8 are working properly, neither (PB0,PB1 or PB2) are working at all with any function even a simple toggle. I'm pretty sure that the Alternate Function property are being generated correctly. Example2: PIN20 Generating a PWM with TIM3_CH1 only works on PB6, if the same timer is passed to PB4 i can't get any output. It has been verified that the installations of STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, and STM32CubeProgrammer are completed successfully and operate normally under standard conditions; however, when STM32CubeAI is installed, a critical issue arises in which STM32CubeMX no longer functions properly, specifically preventing the creation of new projects. This behavior was reproduced on two different computers, with identical results observed in both cases. Additional tests were conducted in which all programs were uninstalled and then reinstalled without STM32CubeAI, resulting in normal operation; subsequently, when all programs were reinstalled including STM32CubeAI, the issue reappeared, and finally, upon uninstalling only STM32CubeAI, STM32CubeMX returned to normal operation. This strongly suggests the existence of a direct conflict between STM32CubeAI and STM32CubeMX, and therefore guidance is requested to resolve this issue or to confirm whether it is a known bug, as well as any possible solutio

When I'm writing code, I often encounter problems caused by the "automatic #include feature".For instance, when I type "__HAL_TIM_SET_COMPARE()" into the code, the line "#include "stm32f0xx_hal_tim.h"" will be automatically added, and then the project will fail to compile properly.I suggest that the "automatic #include function" be set to be disabled.

On a custom STM32H523-based board connected via STLink 2.0 (swd, p2p in CubeMonitor), all selected variables are plotted as 0, including those whose initial value is not 0. I used the Basic_Flow template, where I set acq_out, acq_in, and loaded variable addresses from an ELF following this guide. The executable is proven to update values under GDB. I have tried rebuilding with -O0 and reconnecting and changing sampling frequency between sequential loop and 10 Hz. The code does not contain any standby instructions and the port looks fine since GDB works. I would appreciate any help or advice.
